So a funny thing happened to me this morning: I woke up to a blackout in my neighbourhood. After calling the power company to find out when I could expect electricity again—a couple of hours, ugh—I decided that I was totally not up to stumbling around in the dark trying to cobble up a breakfast and lunch. So instead I grabbed some nuts, fruit and headed off to my university early, hoping that I’d figure the rest out later.
I think I did pretty well.
